No Major Road Problems from Snow, Affton and Shrewsbury Police Say

See what police from the Affton Precinct and Shrewsbury Police Department said about this morning's traffic through the snow.

Yesterday's snow storm blanketed the entire St. Louis region, but here in Affton and Shrewsbury, police say the spring storm hasn't caused too much trouble. St. Louis County Police responded to a few road accidents, according to the Affton Precinct, but otherwise major roads are relatively clear. In Shrewsbury, Police Chief Jeffrey Keller said extra officers were on patrol during morning rush hour, but the streets have been clear enough to let travelers commute safely. Are you seeing traffic accidents, power outages or other effects from the snow? Let us know in the comments!

He said the heaviest bursts of snowfall may be from around noon to 2 p.m. That forecast differs only slight from the storm alert from the National Weather Service: Rain will overspread the area Saturday evening. The rain is expected to mix with and change over to snow late Saturday night and early Sunday morning. Snow, heavy at times, should …
