Waitress Fired After Posting Pastor’s Tip Message Online

Two St. Louis area Applebee’s locations are in the spotlight and lighting up social media after separate incidents involving customer messages on restaurant receipts being posted to social media site Reddit.

What do you think of Applebee's policy? Was Welch's punishment just? Should employees be allowed to share "good" comments, like the one posted to the South County restaurant's page?

A waitress works hard and if they give the customer good service they deserve a good tip, a major part of their income. The pastor should how ignorant customers can be and not the type of clergy I want to be associated with. Thank God not all customers are this rude. The employee had every right to post that receipt.   more ›

Extended Holiday Hours at South County Center

Find out when the mall is open this week, including on Christmas Eve.

With only 8 shopping days left until Christmas, South County Center and other St. Louis-area malls are offering the following extended Holiday shopping hours: “Extending our hours during the busiest shopping season of the year is critical,” said Sean Phillips, Regional Marketing Director. “Our goal is to be as accommodating as possible to meet the needs of everyone’s hectic schedules.
