Traffic Ahead: A Heads-Up For Those Going to the Blues Game Saturday

The exit closures continue downtown, and the Blanchette Bridge will have some lanes closed overnight.

Traffic Troublemakers What's even more maddening than road closures and construction that slow you down? Inconsiderate, irresponsible drivers that make you just shake your head in disbelief. Each week on Patch, we'll highlight some of these Traffic Troublemakers, plus give you a look at what to expect on the roads courtesy of the Missouri Department of Transportation. This week's story comes from Nancy, Traffic Troublemaker editor's wife. I was on Watson Road, and a car slowly pulled out into traffic in front of me, and continued to drive about 10 MPH under the speed limit. I could barely see the driver, and thought it was a classic LOL (little old lady) peering over the steering wheel. When I got close, though, I saw that this LOL was on …

Traffic Ahead: Downtown Could be Tricky

All lanes on eastbound I-64 in downtown St. Louis will close this weekend. You can get there–but driving home might be a challenge.

What's even more maddening than road closures and construction? Inconsiderate, irresponsible drivers that make you shake your head in disbelief. Each week on Patch, we'll highlight some of these Traffic Troublemakers, plus give you a look at what to expect on the roads courtesy of MoDOT. A St. Louis Patch editor tells a tale of driving to pick up her little one from school. Maybe it's something to try next time... This woman was following in her car so closely that I could smell her breath. And then...she turned into the preschool parking lot right behind me. While I felt like giving her a quick lesson in driving etiquette, I smiled instead and secretly tried not to think mean things about her. St. Louis Regional Work Zones for December 8-…

Traffic Ahead: Threatened With BB Gun Over Lane Use

Here's a look at this week's Traffic Troublemakers and the latest road closures and construction projects in the area.

What's even more maddening than road closures and construction that slow you down? Inconsiderate, irresponsible drivers that make you just shake your head in disbelief. Each week on Patch, we'll highlight some of these Traffic Troublemakers, plus give you a look at what to expect on the roads courtesy of the Missouri Department of Transportation. Traffic Troublemakers This week, we have two nominees straight out of the Shrewsbury Police Blotter: "A teenager brandished a pistol at another motorist after an argument over lane use while driving. No one was injured. Police have traced the license plate of the vehicle and arrested a Brentwood teenager for third-degree assault and peace disturbance. Police recovered the weapon; it was a BB …
