Kids Only: Trivia Night to Benefit Affton Schools

Register by January 3 for this trivia night fundraiser just for kids ages 11-15 benefiting Affton schools.

Calling all kids ages 11-15! Sick of your parents getting to have all the fun at trivia nights? The Affton School Mothers Club is hosting a kids only trivia night at Rogers Middle School. The trivia night is at 7 p.m. on January 4. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Registration is $10, which includes snacks, refreshments and prizes. Each team of eight to sign up gets a free one-topping pizza, but students can also sign up without a team. Children may bring their own snacks, but no outside beverages are allowed. Fill Your Weekend with Film, Books, and Pop with Teeth

Our weekly Get Out planner has got all the media you need to make it to Monday.

This week we've got movies and music, hoops and trivia. And, if you are looking to stay in, stop by a book sale. Lindbergh High Film Festival When/Where: 6 p.m. Friday at Lindbergh High School, 5000 S. Lindbergh Blvd. Why Go: Everyone likes movies, even short ones! Check out these short films by talented Lindbergh High School students. Films will be judged by professional critics. Pricing: Free, but canned food products will be collected for local food pantries Lindbergh Faculty Basketball Game When/Where: 6:45 p.m. Saturday at Lindbergh High School, 5000 S.
