Katy Forand, Neighbor

Born and raised in 63123, Katy is a Nerinx Hall and Fontbonne University grad.  After graduating, she worked for Senator Anita Yeckel and Governor Matt Blunt, and is currently a sales associate with Prudential Advantage Realtors, where she was Rookie of the Year in 2010.  An avid golfer, Katy is co-chair of the St. Anthony's Medical Center Charitable Foundation Golf Tournament and serves on the American Youth Foundation's Donald Danforth Jr Memorial Golf Tournament Committee. Katy also serves on the Board of Directors of Young Variety, the Lemay Child and Family Center, the Rose Foundation (benefitting Cystic Fibrosis), and is the founder of SaveGrantsFarm.org.  A Grantwood Village resident, Katy is co-authoring Grantwood's 75th Anniversary of Incorporation commemorative book, focusing on the history of the Village including insight into Grant's Farm and the Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site.  Katy is serving her second term as Gravois Township Committeewoman, her fifth as President of the Forest Haven Homeowner's Association, and is a former President of the St. Louis Area Young Republicans.  Every Old Newsboys' Day, you willl find her and her Mom, Cathy, at the Main Entrance of Forest Haven (Rock Hill and Laclede Station).
